Denver’s Anti-Grafiti Program - EMNA wants volunteers

Take Charge with the Brush offBrush Off Challenge

Denver’s Brush Off Challenge is a way to bring attention to the ever-present graffiti vandalism problem in Denver. The Challenge is asking individuals to adopt-a-spot in their neighborhood that is frequently vandalized by graffiti (a brick wall, a row of dumpsters, etc.) and commit to keeping it graffiti free.
Get involved and participate in the next DENVER/KWAL PAINT BRUSH OFF COMMUNITY CHALLENGE scheduled for Sat., August 21.
The first Brush Off Challengeheld on July 17, brought together over 400 Denver community members, City Council members and employees from Kwal Paint and the City of Denver to remove an estimated 15,500 square feet of graffiti along the entire 9.3 mile stretch of Federal Boulevard, from one end of Denver to the other.

Kwal Paint and the City of Denver’s departments of Public Works, Neighborhood Inspection Services and the Graffiti Oversight Committee are continuing to work together to offer FREE paint and supplies to folks committed to keeping frequently tagged areas in their immediate neighborhoods graffiti-free.
For more information or if you would like to participate, please register online and download the necessary forms at the Denver Partners Against Graffiti website.

The Corps engages youth in entry-level green jobs and training.

If you want help with fall clean up in your yard please contact Bonna Gahart. Appointments will be set up in early September. EMNA makes donations to MHYC for this service and is proud to help clean up the neighborhood.
